Fettle, a pair of heavy-duty hammers, are sand cast in brass and gun metal bronze at a non-ferrous foundry in Bradford, England. The hammers are cast from a 3D printed master pattern and are hand fettled to contrasting levels of finish. While the brass is heavily worked to achieve a smoother, almost machined like quality, the bronze celebrates its cast surface texture and wears the imperfections from the 3D printing process.
