‘Yolk’ is a contemporary barstool with a classic feel – utilising simple details, profiles and textures to combine three complimentary materials.

The stool top is upholstered in Kvadrat’s ‘Hot’ range, detailed with seams cut on the bias that are reminiscent of old woodworking techniques. The robust oak frame is softened by a teardrop profile and soaped finish to retain its natural colour, whilst the steel footrest has a heavy sandblast for grip, and clear powder coat to add to the natural aesthetic.

Yolk is generous in proportion but humble in finish, designed to sit comfortably within a range of contexts.
