Inspired by the commissioners plan of 1811 – The Original Grid is a self-healing cutting mat bearing the iconic Manhattan grid. Outlining the importance of taking a ‘measured approach’ to design, the graphic places the environment at the heart of progressive design. A reminder that all cities need their lungs, and that the stage at which our planet was ‘self-healing’ is long gone.
